I bet I can come up with a Halloween activity

It is Called Cornin'. It involved a sack full of shelled field corn and throwing it at your neighbors windows (does no damage just makes noise) and then running. The next day you gather up all the corn in your front yard and you have enough to go cornin again the next night. Anyone else ever...

Has anyone used one of these??

We got it at an auction. They called it a pony trainer. We painted it John Deere Green and Yellow, and put new chains on it. We introduced some of the minis to it today. Here are a few pictures. We kept the first time use down to a few minutes, just a start to get them used to it.

    New Carts!!

We went to the annual Cart and buggie auction at Dinkys yesterday. Wow!! I have never seen so many carts, buggies, wagons, carriages and sleighs in one place. They had a stage coach that went for $20,000. They had a Cinderalla carriage. They had several horse drawn hearses, one came with a...

Hopefully we will have puppies now.

We have two Dobermans (1 male and 1 female). We are wanting them to have a litter of puppies. He was a year old in May and he kept trying to do "it" but he just kept "humping" air, and not always at the correct end either. We tried to help direct him but he would just shy away. Tonight we...

    Look what I picked up

Went to a place called Dinky's last night. This place is run by the amish and they auction off almost anything. Most of the animals are in poor shape when they are brought there. When we saw this little colt we just had to have him. He may not have papers and he will be gelded but he will be...

    update on Hubby's handy work

John has made quite a lot of progress on building #2 and here are some pictures. We have already put a big round bail of hay in the bottom part (as shown in picture 3) Picture 4 was taken before we put the bail in. The top loft part should hold around 16 square bails of hay.

    Old West style building #2

John couldn't wait to start working on another building, even though he still has some work to finish up on the inside part of the 1st one. With cold weather coming on he thought we needed a way to feed the hay and keep the hay, horses and ourselves dry. This one is going to have a storage...
