We have two Dobermans (1 male and 1 female). We are wanting them to have a litter of puppies. He was a year old in May and he kept trying to do "it" but he just kept "humping" air, and not always at the correct end either. We tried to help direct him but he would just shy away.
Tonight we were out in the pasture with the horses and when we came back in - there they were stuck together.
Hopefully we will have puppies for Christmas.
Edited to add Here is an after picture. (and he hasn't quit smiling).
