    Does anyone here decoupage?

I have some questions, if someone is familiar with decoupaging? I'd appreciate some help.

    Raw Diet for cats?

Hi, I'm wondering if anyone feeds a raw diet to their kitties? My heart fur kid was diagnosed with intestinal lymphoma in June, and it has been a rollercoaster ever since. He is mostly on a canned food only diet right now (he does get a little dry Nature's Variety Raw Boost daily to keep his...

    Teeth Floating

Do you do it yourself, or have your vet/farrier do it?

    Chemical Face Treatments

I'm just wondering if anyone has ever had one, or done the creams at home? I recently saw rave reviews for a product that has glycolic acid in it on Amazon. Apparently it smoothes out/fades blemishes, shrinks pores, and helps with fine wrinkles. The skin on my face is horrible! I have small...

    Summer time goals?

What are your's? I hope to add swimming and pool exercises three days a week when it warms up enough. I also vow to spend one evening a week doing yardwork. Thats about all I think I'll be able to handle - four days of activity, three days of rest.

    A family affair?

Are you the only bookworm in your family, or are there others? My husband will occasionally pick up a book to read, but he prefers to spend his time watching tv or playing video games. So I guess I would be the only person in my house who could be labeled a book worm. Lol

    Book Recommendations for May

It's time to come up with a book you would like to read (and discuss) for the book-of-the-month. You can pick any book from any genre (fiction or nonfiction). So post your recommendations below and maybe a little bit about the book. Preferrably a book that you haven't read (and hopefully no...

Just curious what everyone is reading right now?

I have jumped back into reading, but only light easy reads right now. Actually I haven't picked what I'm going to read next yet. Decisions, decisions.... So what are you all reading at the moment?

    Veggie Recipes?

I'm trying to incorperate more vegetables in my husband and my's diet. The problem is, we mostly eat salads, potatoes, peas, carrots, corn, and green beans, which gets boring. I'd like to try some easy (simple) recipes with maybe spinach and squash/zucchini. Does anyone have some tasty...

    Island of the Blue Dolphins

Has anyone read this book? I am just getting back into reading after almost a month's break, so reading shorter books until I get back in to the swing of things (concentrating). It seems like there was a sequel to this book, but I could be wrong?

Anyone ever have a sinus infection?

I went to my doctor today and she diagnosed me with a sinus infection. She wrote me a prescription for Keflex, and told me to try the Neti Pot. A half an hour ago, I did the Neti Pot and all of a sudden my right nostril kept draining tons of thick orangish mucus. The mucus from my left side...

    Pinguecula (eye related)

I was just diagnosed with this condition in both of my eyes. I admit, I never wear sunglasses or a hat, and I live in a very sunny/windy climate. I've been having issues with one of my eyes for the past six weeks (major inflammation), so it is somewhat of a relief to finally know what I'm...

Stress Thread! Just let it all out here!

Ok, so stress plays an important part in whether we succeed or fail on our weightloss goals. I thought a stress thread would be great for us. We can come here and vent whatever it is that is bothering us. Other's can choose to reply, or not, but at least we get it out of our system. (I have...

    YAY! My computer is faster!

My computer has been getting slower and slower, and I was worried that I would need to take it in to the shop to have some memory freed or something. By shear luck, I decided to defragment it yesterday (the last time it was done was in August '08). It took at least seven hours - it was still...

    Book choices for April

"The Perks of Being a Wallflower" by Stephen Chbosky - Charlie is a freshman. And while he's not the biggest geek in the school, he is by no means popular. Shy, introspective, intelligent beyond his years yet socially awkward, he is a wallflower, caught between trying to live his life and...

    The Voice

For those watching, what do you think about Shakira and Usher replacing Ceelo and Christina? I've always loved Shakira, so I couldn't be more pleased that she's a judge. Not to mention, I can not stand Christina Aguilera, so I LOVE her being gone! I've never really cared for Usher, (and I...
