Obama Blasts "Selfish" Americans For Not Wanting to Pay Higher Taxes

The reason that we want to do this, change our tax code, is not because I have anything against the rich. I love rich people! I want all of you to be rich. Go for it. That’s the America dream, that’s the American way, that’s terrific...
"John McCain and Sarah Palin they call this socialistic. You know I don’t know when, when they decided they wanted to make a virtue out of selfishness."So, since when did Obama start joking about socialists

I guess this does not aply to Obama & his blood relatives that are living in slums. Talk about calling the kettle black!

Obama's aunt found living in Boston slum.

Speaking of which Joe Wurzelbacher's private & personal records have been accessed 4 times via government computers

The investigation could become "criminal in nature," attorney general's office spokeswoman Jennifer Brindisi told The Dispatch.Wurzelbacher expressed frustration over the incident.

"It upsets me greatly, to be honest with you," Wurzelbacher told FOX News' Neil Cavuto on Saturday. "For a private citizen to ask a question of his elected leaders and then turn around and get a proctology exam, that's just kind of wrong."
So where is Joes apology from Obama & his democratic campaign? Talk about a dirty campaign and apologies owed! Folks this is an indication that we private citizens will not be safe from a FULL democratic controlled government led by Obama! And I do not buy the fact that Obama had nothing to do with it. He could have offered a public apology on behalf of his dirty campaign sniffing dogs!

And guess what an independent study on media coverage concluded

The Project for Excellence in Journalism concluded last week that McCain's coverage has been overwhelmingly negative since the conventions ended, while Obama's has been more mixed.

NOW tell me again WHO is biased?

So now we're selfish, virtue-less, racist, unpatriotic and who knows that else will be added by Tuesday, all because we choose not to vote for Obama.

As far as him, with his million&1/2$ mansion, not helping his own family, that's just plain.... (can't even think of a good word for it) unless maybe it's "no-good" or "self absorbed".

I agree that, even though he may not personally have done it, his supporters invaded the privacy of a citizen who was simply in a position to ask a question of a presidential candidate. The fact that Obama doesn't like eating his own words, or his words coming back to bite him in the butt doesn't mean that doesn't owe Joe the Plumber an apology for actions taken on his behalf.

If you taking something from somebody who don't want to give it to you..and use it for yourself..I call this something else..at least that is what I tought my kids!

I think it is absolutely terrible that Joe the Plumber has been ridiculed for nothing more than asking a mere question to the possible future President. How dare he be concerned about his and his sons future........a question, a simple question, and some how he is now on the chopping block, an innocent American! The way they feel the need to investigate him you would think Joe the Plumber was running against him.

Joe the plumber is GUILTY..how DARE he..you do NOT question Obama..or you get shut out, thrown off or investigated..didn't he know he was suppost to shout YES I can..open his wallet and bow down!

Actually Mary Lou, John McCain is getting enough mileage out of Joe the Plumber to turn the tide and it's only because of the answer Joe got when he asked his question. I don't see how it can be called "mud-slinging" when it's what Obama said. McCain would have been a fool not to use it....and I don't think he is. Like I said Obama said something he's being forced to live with. Even with all his millions of $$$ he can't unring that bell. It's still clanging nationwide.

Obama says he didn't know aunt is here illegally

CHICAGO (AP) - Barack Obama says he didn't know his aunt was living in the country illegally. The Associated Press has learned that the Kenyan woman has been living in public housing in Boston, despite being instructed to leave four years ago by immigration authorities. Zeituni Onyango (zay-TUHN on-YANG-oh) had requested asylum, but a judge rejected it.
AND you know if Obama is president she & thousands of other illegals will get asylum too - - oh but wait would he not have helped his dear auntie already IF he cared for her? Obama's "I didn't know"
default_pinocchio.gif
is getting a bit old, I think!

Speaking of illegals if you don't know - Obama wants to give illegals drivers licenses................. McCain does not. Remember the 9/11 terrorists had 13 drivers licenses between them and some were registerd to vote. Wouldn't shock me if Obama's ACORN has his dear Auntie set up to vote also!

Campaign officials says Obama provided no assistance in getting her a tourist visa and last heard from her about two years ago
. Obama won't help his illegal blood realtive but he is not beneath asking us legal Americans to pay their way!
default_thumbdown.gif
AND I want to know WHY she is living in public housing when there are American war veterans living on the street. That is so not right! :arg!

For those of you saying that these news stories are only being reported on republican biased networks you need to look again.

Obama has given McCain & Palin a whole lot more material and subject matter due to his history and associations & now changing his tax amount so YES it takes longer to tell. Call it mudslinging if you wish. Apparently some people have not been watching the news lately & seen the "mudslinging " that Obama and his cohorts are doing!

Only one that make such a BIG DEAL about Joe the Plumber is Fox, Hennity, Rush, McCain & his supporters and so on... has nothing to do with the people voting for Obama.. Just people trying to mud-sling against Obama.. Glad Obama does not play those games go that low..
Oh, and Joe the Plumber himself. Apparently he now has a publicist and is planning to run for Congress in 2010. So much for the Average Joe, huh?

I was not going to post on these political threads but since last time I checked Joe the Plumber was not running for office I guess this is ok.

Don't you all worry about Joe the Plumber. McCain has stated more then once that not only is Joe the Plumber an American Hero but he is McCains Hero. I am sure McCain will be helping out his hero Joe and that Joe will cash in on his own 15 minutes. Maybe now he will never need to worry about apprenticing and getting a license so that he can actually be prepared to purchase a plumbing company.

I find it a bit odd of an odd choice for McCain. Joe the want to be plumber is not really what I consider to be American Hero status. I personally reserve that for people like our veterans, firefighters and law enforcement.

Guess whatever floats your boat! Just goes to show we all have different views and different people we choose to look up to.

Joe the Plumber an American Hero
.
I would rather listen to Joe the plumber for 20 years instead of sitting in church next to Obama for 20 years hearing his spiritual leader, Rev Jeremiah Wright preach, " God d _ _ n America".

I am sure McCain will be helping out his hero Joe. Maybe now he will never need to worry about apprenticing and getting a license
......................... And now that the rest of the country knows about his auntie, Obama can help dear auntie living here illegally who has been TOLD to leave America get her citizenship.

I guess this means he must have been a complete moron to ask the running candidate a QUESTION! I dont' beleive he ever said, "I have a plumbers business, license, and I am going to purchase. I beleive what he said was something along the lines of "I was wanting or hoping to purchase the plumbing business that I work for", I know there are 4 of you who will correct my statement and possibly post us a link to a youtube video, but the fact still remains, regardless of what he said or how he said it, if he paid his taxes or not, he is entitled to ask a question, last time I checked we still had freedom of speach, and as the man running for office, answered with an answer hoping to win his vote.....there are lots of people who have not regularly filed thier taxes or paid in to them, I don't think that makes them not worthy of asking a political candidate a question, especially the man that will be running thier country for the next 4 years.

Asking a question of a candidate does not in my opinion make someone an American Hero. If you all choose to look up to and call him your hero that is your complete and total right.

I personally reserve the word hero and the term AMERICAN HERO for someone who does a bit more then ask a candidate a question.

Again that is just my preference if he is your idea of an American Hero then that is wonderful. We all need to have those that we can look up to and the right to choose them for whatever reasons we see fit.

Bingo I think this may be the first time I've agreed with you about something. But do you honestly think some of those political contributors (the ones who donate thousands of $$$$$) aren't doing it in order to gain something from it - whether it be political favors or power? I'll never believe they're doing it from the goodness of their hearts.

Shoot - Joe the Plumber could probably be elected today. He didn't have an ulterior motive when Obama walked up to him that day.

Speaking of Joe the Plumber.....we mustn't forget Joe the Biden. He's helping quite a bit too. I think Joe's rhetorical flourishes will be worth a lot of votes for Sen McCain.

Well hold on to your hat! I am in complete agreement with you as well when it comes to the above statement.
