Colt!! Born 3/5 at 5am....of course I had to be at work at 8am for a 12-hr shift! Had to scramble but I made it!
Thankfully Sassy popped him out without any complications and he was a quick learner in the nursing department.
I wasn't sure of his color until he dried. Dam is a silver bay pinto and sire is a bay pinto. Looks like the colt is Chestnut pinto!
This will be the only foal sired by Total Eclipse Dances on Heir, my homegrown Pinto World Champion. Last year I knew I was leaning towards keeping him as my all-around driving and show horse. Which meant I was going to geld him come fall(which I did!!). I've always liked Sassy's foals but she's a size reducer and I like them a little taller than what she produced with Danny's sire. I was hoping Danny's long legs and neck would cross well with her and it seems to be the case. He really has a cute head(easier to see when he was wet...now his forehead is all fluffy hair!).
Any help with naming him is appreciated!! Dam is Donnas Sassy Lassy and Sire is Total Eclipse Dances on Heir. I was looking for something that would mean "one and only" since this is the only offspring from Danny.
