I imagine that the majority of us - at least the more obsessive mini horse owners LOL - come from big horse backgrounds. If someone gets smug with me, I can back up what I know with the fact that I owned QHs for over 40 years and still have a couple. Horses are horses, mini to draft. My neighbor doesn't call me to discuss equitation or form with her hunter horse, but she sure calls when she has a colic or an injured horse.
