I called AMHA today, I was told the same as what Songcatcher said in her reply "If the foal is already registerd they CAN be brought permanent even if the stallion was not brought permanent, this only effects new registrations if the stallion has not been brought permanent" so if I do sell my boy I do not have to worry about the foals that I have that are already registered.
"STORMY" I would really be upset if they denied permanent registration on your boy based on the information I got today from AMHA today.
I'm not pushing to sell my boy so if he's here another year it's not big deal but I hate to see him just standing around, I may offer him to a few outside mares. I have retained 2 of his fillies and his foals are the only one expected for 2009 so I would like to use my other stallion next year.
