Congrats on the beautiful mare. I had seen her sold. She would have made an nice match to my gray 2 yr old filly that I have that I'm training to drive. Prices weren't to bad but some of the horses should have brought a lot more than what they did. I was surprised that the black Sids Rebel daughter went as low as she did, even though they didn't let her go. Even her colt went really cheap I thought. Lot #68 went for a good price, bay app mare by Shadow Oaks Freckles. The little drawf that sold lived 5 minutes down the road from me. I don't think she had any papers that I was aware of.

I was wondering if anyone would list the prices of a couple horses. I left after lot 71 sold. Here's the number's:

73, 77, 79, 85, 86, 93, 95, 105, 111, 114, 122

I really liked the horses that Timber Ridge Miniatures and Westwind Miniatures brought. Anyone have their websites? I'd like to look at their stallions. Thanks for all the info. And congrats to all of those who bought horses. I was good and didn't buy anything. I have two really nice horses with good backgrounds that I wouldn't trade for anything. Planning on going to the spring sale to see what comes in.

curious now! someone mentioned there were black/white appys with blue eyes from Timberview? we have never had that I can remember having any black/white with blue eyes. we don't hardly ever have blue eyes here.. was that maybe Timberidge miniatures instead? I would really like to know. unless someone else is using a name similar to ours? Timberview Miniature appaloosas in Iowa

I believe the blue eye pintos were Timber Ridges not Timberview. There were a couple appys sired by Timberview R.J. Aztec Chief,

I didn't notice blue eyes on them.

And yes the blue eyed foals and a couple of the other horses were timber ridge horses and I believe they were from tennesee...

All and all I thought it was a very nice sale and will hopefully be able to go back in the spring..

Thanks for posting prices.

I had a great time. Prices were a bit low. But when you figure winter coming and the shortage of hay I think prices were good. I cant wait until the spring. I really think this is not a typical "auction". Almost every owner was thier and willing to talk. Everyone was friendly. I cant wait until spring.

I am sorry I missed it, especially knowing there were b/w pintos with blue eyes!!!

The next one is the second wkend in May. I am requesting off from work either Friday or that Monday. It is such a long drive.

I hope you do go to the next auction. It would be fun
