For those of you that live near a Fairgrounds, are you allowed to go in and use the grounds to say drive for a few hours!!!!do you have to pay a fee and show proof of insurance???? I am not talking about a whole group of people but one or two people driving a couple horses..

I think it depends on the fairgrounds, I know some that are gated and you cant get in them, then there are others that are wide open and you can use them. I would make sure to have coggins on hand and any other health certificates in your vehicle just incase someone stops and asks.

I live across the street from a fairgrounds. They don't mind me driving my minis (alone or with friends) as long as I don't interfere with the harness horses or events going on. I find it to be a nice quiet area with no traffic worries.
