I've been toying with the idea of having two websites. I already have one that I really like but am thinking of having another one where I can update it often. I am constantly taking new photos and would love the ability to change, add, or whatever on a weekly basis. Does anyone else have more than one? I would appreciate anyone's ideas or thoughts on the matter.

Thanks in advance for your input!

Why not add a couple of pages to your existing site that you can update as you like ?

Do you do your own site?

If not than you can do another free site, than ask the your web host to add this link to your links page?

That way there you could have a couple of pages, if you wish to update yourself, on daily or weekly bases. I do not see it hurting at all.

Just have a special explanation for the link?

Hope that helps.

I only have one, which I obsessively update (chalk it up to me being a nerd!). But, I do own several domain names, all of which flip to my one website...

http://www.whinnyforme.com/

http://www.showmini.com/

and

http://www.showminis.com/

Are all "mine"

I could make them into different sites but they all just go to my same website.

What I do is have a separate page for each "group" (stallions, mares, geldings, etc.) but then I also have links by each horses' name on their group page and that shows more pictures of each horse and more info (like the pedigrees on the mares and geldings, etc.). My website is really simple and easy for me (not very internet savvy) to update

If the issue is that you have someone else do your site and it dosent get updated as often as you would like, how about a blog? You can update on the horses, and add pictures.

then have your webmaster link your blog to your site. I'm pretty sure you can get a free one from livejournal.com

I ahve 2 websites that are updated quickly by my website designer Gena Brown from Stable Lane Designs

www.thebayprince.com

www.mountainmeadowsminiaures.com

I just wanted to clarify something. I'm sorry if anyone thought my post implied that my web designer was slow to do updates. She is not !!! She is extremely fast, efficient, & very creative !!! I only asked because I love to take photos and change photos often. And I now know what I am going to do. I will have a link to a photo gallery where I can have lots of photos and even keep my same colors as my website. My web designer told me about this.
