If I nominate a mare and stallion this year, when do the resulting offspring show? I know they show at nationals, but at what ages?

When I look at the forms I'm wondering if they show as weanlings, yearlings, two-year olds and three-year olds.

Does it actually add value to a foal if it's futurity nominated?

I personally want all youngsters I buy to be futurity nominated, so I say yes it adds value.

They first show as weanlings, then they can show throught their 3 year old year if sustained.

If you havent done the nominations and sustaining stuff and have it postmarked today it will be too late. Today is the deadline. You show the foals as Rob said weanlling or suckling, yearlling , two year old and then three year old in halter and performance. Yes it ads value. All of the foals produced here are nominated and sustained as long as I own them and I dont buy anything that isnt nominated and sustained.
