What to wear in a driving class??

Thanks for the post. I'm also trying to decide what to wear.

At the shows I've been too and the pictures I have seen .....I've noticed that all black with just a touch of the horses color in hat or shirt looks the best.

This puts the attention on the horse as they are more colorful than the driver.

Now if I had a dumpy mover, I would be in a neon suit, which puts the attention on the driver.

Its not compulsory in NZ to wear a hat and gloves in any classes except Showmanship. Have i missed the rule somewhere????I checked the most current available on the NZMHA website and found no mention of it.

This from the current rules on NZMHA website:

(b) Gentlemen to wear a hat, coat or jacket, shirt and pants, tie and gloves. Ladies to wear a dress, tailored suit,

skirt or slacks with a blouse, vest or jacket, gloves and hat.

Seems fairly straight forward?? Unless there has been another rule change??
