Hi there, I just joined the forum. I was wondering if anyone could help me find something appropriate tack-wise to use on my mini, Flower, for pony rides. The 10" western saddle I purchased online was supposed to be made specifically for the wide-backed mini, but it still pinches her shoulders. She is a larger mini, Shetland-type, 36 inches. I was thinking a treeless saddle might work? Do they even make these for minis?

Flower basically just does lead line, but my 4-year-old (and lots of her and her sister's little friends) like to walk and trot and I'd like something to provide more security for the rider than bareback, and more comfort for the pony. Please let me know if you have any ideas, and thanks!

I think it's called a Bambino leadline saddle, sort of looks English to me. I don't know much about them, but what little I've read it seems people are pleased with them.

Thanks! I just Googled it…it sounds perfect. Chicks has it for only forty bucks
