6 years ago July 4th I had ovarian cancer, more than they had seen in anyone my age ( 39 at the time). It was a scarey time for my family, & we made many life changing decisions because of it, but I have always thought of it as something very positive because my life has changed so much for the better because of it. I live each day to the fullest where before I am sure I took everyone & everything for granted around me. I am sure that you will be fine tomorrow, but if it does come back positive, then keep your chin up & never think of it as anything but a bump in the road of life that you WILL get through.

Will be thinking of you.

Nan, in 1996 I was diagnosed with advanced colon cancer. They removed 8 inches and I did 1 yr of heavy chemo. My doc told me 4 years later She hadn't expected me to make it. Well it is 10 yrs later and no more cancer. Hopefully yours will be benign but if it isn't, know you can lick it. I sure did. Will be praying for you1

Nan,

I'm glad you heard from Debbie and MaryLou, both who have been through it, before going to the hospital. They are wonderful examples of hope and positive outcome for you.

If I were in your shoes, I would be scared to death, but please cling to positive thought and God's Healing Light all around you.

Be sure to post when you can with an update.

Blessings,

MA

I had a full hysto in 1998, no cancer, but just really messed up. It changed my life for the better I think. These things need to be done and thank the Lord that the doctors have the technology that they have. We have to be thankful we live in the times we do...in the 1800's we would have lived a painful life and died much sooner...

Keeping you in my thoughts and prayers that everything went well and for a speedy recovery.

Hi Nancy, Nine years ago they found a mass on my right ovary. They were certain it was cancer. Turned out it was 12cm cyst plus two 5 cm cysts. The ovary itself was in pretty bad shape so the doc removed it. Wound up going back in 6 months later to have everything else taken out. Doctor was certain again that I had cancer (after going in this time) but labs came out ok. I had ovarian cysts, uterine fibroids, and an unbelievable amount of endometriosis. What a major relief to have all that mess out of my body!! Hang in there and try not to worry (yes, I know, "easier said than done"). Know that we will all be praying for you and holding you in our hearts and minds. Looking forward to hearing your report in a few days that all is well:)!!! JoAnn in Florida

I will be praying for you, too.

Hi Nancy, I was just sitting here wondering how you were doing. By now you should be through your surgery and are probably resting reasonably comfortably. I hope that all went well and they found nothing extraordinarily wrong in there. Looking forward to hearing that you are doing well:)!!! JoAnn
