Our mini barn

I haven't posted much lately, because I had been posted on the FB page, but after getting the email about the Secret Santa sign up (so excited) I have been playing around today.

We have now had our minis for a year, and they are a year and a half old and doing great!

Since my last post, we built and finished a new mini barn for my three, and I thought I'd share a few pictures of it.

Thank you! Ours are pretty spoiled Those are 31 bags, with their names embroidered on them, and I also have pictures I painted of each horse on the other wall.

When we moved Tucker (gelding) from his other shed, we took down his ball and his painting before we moved him. He was SO upset and whistled and paced. He thought he was being sent away, poor guy. But he LOVES the new barn.

Wow, it's so clean.

Our little goobers would be ripping some of the decorations off the wall.

But, you've inspired me. ... a-cleaning I go tomorrow!

AngC, the shelves are high enough that our little shorties cannot reach the shelves or decorations. Our minis are rather small; the tallest is Tucker, the gelding, and he stands 30inch tall.

Today, I started to wage war on the barn swallows; (I was kind of irked at them anyway 'cause one pooped on Baby's back.) They're kind of pretty birds, but today I took the leaf blower to them.

Love your barn!!! The porch looks really nice for sitting, grooming and just hanging out with your minis!!! You sound like us......we got our minis 3yrs ago they were 5 and 6 months old. We built a small barn before they were weaned. Our girls will be 3 in the spring! I am in Va. too, in Culpeper! Where are you? I don't know too many people with minis close by other than our breeder and a few others that are a little farther away. Did you get you babies local?
