No Joke! Butter had an April Fool's Day baby!

Out of Butter, Silver Buckskin

And Dell Tera's Checkers, Sorrel Splash Overo

Born at 4:00am at 378 days!

Blaze and one white sock. A/R pending. Born at 378 days! Can feel his teeth coming in, he's super hairy, nursed right away, looks like he's been nursing for two weeks---fattie! He is a big boy! But, he is three weeks "overdue".

Has anyone ever had one go that long???

378? that's over a year - are you sure you weren't off on your dates? I know they can go over - as much as 355 and 356 but 378 is a year and 16 days! LOL

while I'm excited for your new bundle of joy of course - I can't help but think your dates were off by at least a month LOL

My first thought regarding a name was something with : Foolish Pleasure

that was the first thing that popped in my head LOL

That's what we've been thinking. But she was only bred one cycle. We've check the dates over and over and over. Our vet said the longest gestation he's seen that he was positive on the dates was 372. It's definitely possible but he is definitely overly cooked!

I knew Checkers was a very special boy from the moment I saw him. I knew he was the "one".

He has two more foals coming this year. We can't wait to see them!
