I was determined to complete the 50,000 word novel this year, and I did it!

That said, the novel is not really done. I still have to write the ending, and then I am sure there will be editing to do. Just the same, I have never gotten this far with one of my stories. My family knows that I start stories but never finish them. My sister has refused to read another beginning because then she never gets to read the end. So, now I will have a story that she can read. I am so excited!

Marty, did you ever get your words counted?

Congratulations Jane! I envy you..... My stories are always very short. I wish I could settle down and write a novel or at least a novella.

Good job! I know how hard it is to finish a book. I have several started but something always comes up and I lose interest. Someday I'll finish them...
