How often do you breed , and what is healthy for the brood mare...what is not? Whats the best age to wait to breed for the first time.... is it better for the mare to always breed to a smaller stallion, or does it not matter ? I am not a breeder ( obviously) , but am thinking about having a little one for me to keep in the next few years , I could never sell a baby ...dont know how you guys do it . I think breeding every year is a little mean ... but maybe its OK, let me know what you think.
