Hi

I bought a new set of body clippers last year and they only came with one blade.

How many do you reccomend I have on hand for body clipping 3 mini's ?

I do not have a clipper sharpening place around me, I have to mail them out.

Thanks

I have 4 minis and I clipped 2 outside horses last year. I give a bath and do a ruff cut. I have 1 T-84 blade for my ruff cut. Then I give another bath and do my finish cut with a 10 blade. I think I have 3 sets of 10 blades. I also have 2 #30's for the head. I have to have my blades sharpened every year when the AMHA show is in town.

I have about 25 blades. I keep forgetting to get them sharpened and have to buy more.

The first clip of the year will take a whole blade-- you might as well just get it sharpened afterwards. If you bathe before clipping you'll probably be better off because the blades aren't going against dirt.

I would say 5 #10 blades and if you want to do close-ups (and you don't have to) you can get the 30 and 40.
