Sassy's real name is Say It Aint So. Phebe's real name is Phebe Boof'e. shes also called Pest, Min,[ and Bone Head when shes real bad].

Jandts Cheeri Deeri: barn name Dinah, but I usually call her Dinah-Roo or even more often, just Roo.

WeeOkies Brite Yukon Star: barn name Yukon, but my mother started calling him Yugie (not real sure how to spell it, LOL) and it has caught on with me.

Those are really the only odd nicknames our horses have.

CR Lakota Renegade aka 'Stick'. When my mom first got him as a youngster everything looked like it came out of the same hole and I told her he was built like a stick. He was also known as Jaws, Pirahna, and thought for a long time that his name was Don't Bite. He is no longer built like a stick but Stick stuck. That is probably the only bizarre barn name that we have right now. Occasionally our horses, depending on their attitude and what they are doing, will have other various names that I will not mention here.

Mountain Views Fozzie - Spook ... self explanatory!

And some that we even don't know exactly how they evolved!

Circle J Elvez - Ernie ... no idea how he evolved into Ernie, but it's interchangable! He's also The Princess often, because, well, he's a princess.

Morning Moons Arrow Dynamic - Arrow would be the logical nickname, but we call him Straight Ahead Fred!

McLennans Cherrys Jubilation - AKA C.J or poo bear when he likes to help dump his poo pail 2 year old gelding When he wants attention he is called my teddy bear - just want to hug him

Raftered Hearts Silver Salute - "Mouse" (because the first time I clipped him, he was just about 6 weeks old, and looked in his little silky grey coat, like a tiny mouse. It stuck) or "Carson" (his alter-ego)

Raftered Hearts Buckin' the Tide- Since Mouse is Carson, well, this one is "Kyan" or "Ky-Ky" but his first real nickname came from Crabby Chickens when he was staying there w/his mom while she was shacked up w/Falcon for a next year breeding: "Curly Pants" *LMAO* he had such a long, fuzzy coat (born 2-7-06), that when he got wet or damp, it curled and looked really cute esp. there by his little "buns" *LOL*

It's cute to hear my five year old say it! Occasionally he is called "Mr. Curly-Curly" but he's not curly anymore.

Raftered Hearts Cherry Bomb - Bomber, CB, Cherry, Cherries, Bomber-butt or #%$^$&%@!&! if she's being hard to catch in the pasture, something she just likes to do!

Dell Tera's Betty - Since we never knew her registered name til about three years ago, and we've had her 11 years, she was always called "Gramma" but we call her the "Great GP," "Grammy", "PoPo" or "the Five-Oh".

Raftered Hearts Raven's Lark - is just called Lark, but my older son calls her Porkrind Jr. Jr. (see Lailah).

Raftered Hearts Raven Star - Lailah. I love that name for a girl, and it just suited her.

My oldest son began calling her "PorkRind Jr." when she was a tiny baby b/c she and his filly, Goldie, were "rivals" and Lailah's always had an ample behind, let's say. Her dam had the same generous hip, and she was the "original Pork Rind." I usually sing the "Lailah" part like in the Eric Clapton song, "Layla" It's pretty sad, but she loves it and whickers at me and bats her long eyelashes.
