These mini classes are new for Clark County. I am trying to get more local interest in miniatures. If we have a good mini turnout, they will add more in the future. Please try and support this show if possible.

8. Ladies Country Pleasure 19 & up

9. Open Mountain Pleasure

11. Youth Country Pleasure 18 & under

12. Western or English Pleasure - walk/trot/lope

13. Miniature Pleasure driving

14. Mule Pleasure

15. English Pleasure (Hunter/English saddle, walk, trot, gallop)

16. Spotted Country Pleasure

17. Style Racking Horse

18. Country Trail Pleasure (no dismount required)

19. Clark County Rider Western Pleasure (trotters only)

20. Two and Three Year old Country Pleasure

21. Western Pleasure (Walk/jog, trotters only)

22. Speed Racking Horse

23. Clark County Rider Country Pleasure 18 & under

24. Country Pleasure Championship

25. Western – English Pleasure Championship - trotters, walk/trot/lope

**Country pleasure classes are reserved for gaited horses only**

Entry Fees – Class 1 & 2 – Free

Classes 3 – 25 ($5.00 entry - $30, $20, $15, $10,

Ribbon)

(Payouts to start at $20 if only 4 entries)

Required: Negative Coggins and Current Health Certificate on all horses.

Show will be held at the Clark County Fairgrounds on Route 15.

The Clark County Saddle Club will not be held responsible for injury,

theft, or damages of any nature.

At the moment those are the only 2 classes. I am working on getting them to split

the halter class. Mares---Geldings/stallions.

If we have a good turnout. They will be adding more classes in the future. They

are planning on having fun shows in June and in Sept, but I don't have the class list yet.

Winchester is in Clark County, KY

It is about 20 miles east of Lexington on I-64.

I got this in an email, it would have been good to tell us where this show is. Ohio has a Clark county as well. If the show were there, I would come, but Kentucky is way to far for two classes in an unrated show, sorry.

Could you give directions to the fairgrounds, please? We would be coming in on 64 East from Lexington. We will certainly try to be there. It's not too far from home. Thanks

So they wouldn't let the miniatures into the Leadline, Ladies/Gentleman/Youth Country Pleasure classes, etc.?

I'm no where near there but just wondered if people would only be allowed to show in the 2 mini classes or could do the others with the bighorses too.

angel cowgirl---I'm sure they would allow miniatures in lead line, but not in any

of the other classes stated for big horses.

I am hoping that there will be 3 mini classes, as I asked them to split the

halter class, mares---geldings/stallions, then pleasure driving.

I would love to have an entire show devoted to minis here, but we have to start

small and see what interest there is. That's why I am encouraging any one that's

close to please support it.

Take I-64 to the 2nd Winchester Exit which is #96. When getting off the ramp

go right. Immediately go to the far left lane and turn left onto the Bypass at

the light. At the 2nd light, turn left onto RT. 15. Fairgrounds will be on your

left about 3-4 miles.

If it isn't stated as a driving class the Country Pleasure in the gaited breeds is also a riding class, so NO miniatures would not be allowed as they do not fit the requirements for that class. If it ws a driving class then as an OPEN show it would be OPEN to anyone of any breed.

Our fair Board did revise the class list since I had received several requests. Here is the revised show class list.

There will now be separate halter classes for mares, geldings, and stallions and then a pleasure driving class.

Yeah :aktion033: We now have 4 classes instead of 2.

Looks like a good start -- we don't compete in the Fair Ground shows (or the AMHA/AMHR shows either - only ADS ones) -- however I know people who do.
