Now that I have your attention

, how do I change my avatar picture...

I have tried everything, do I first take away the old one...what if I take it away and I can't get it back...or put a new one on...I have been hours, my son who put the first one on tried also :arg!

I know sometimes when I change my avatar, I can't see the change but everyone else can, so...

What I see in your avatar is two donkeys with red bows/antlers.

What I’m seeing is your old avatar ~ not a new one

But yes, I know what Chanda is talking about - the new avatar sometimes doesn’t show up right away.

Before you start the avatar process below, make sure the picture you choose meets these guidelines:

Your avatar must be no bigger than 112 pixels by 200 pixels in size. Uploaded avatars from your computer must be no larger than 50000 KB.

1. Go to your control panel

2. Choose on the left side “edit avatar settings”

3. Scroll to bottom of that screen and “remove avatar”

4. Then it should go back to the edit avatar settings screen – I think

5. Then you should see one of your choices “upload a new image from your computer”

6. Hit “browse” and choose the location and picture you want to add

7. Then at the bottom hit “update avatar”

8. You should be looking at a new avatar

**NOTE -- Bad news is your old avatar will probably be gone, but is that picture saved somewhere else – on your computer? I have never had any luck uploading a new avatar unless I first remove the old one. Maybe I'm doing something wrong

This happens to me too .... sometimes I just have to log off LB and then try again OR try another day

I once thought that someone behind the scenes had tp approve the Avatars ??? because of the delay?

I was thinking about using nasty "Santa" on mine to see if this was true

About the avatars, I'm on a different computer now and I see Cheryl's OLD avatar. This is too weird

I wonder if it has to do with deleting cookies, history, etc?
