Fly boots

I've been using fly boots on my mini mare for a few years now. I opened a new set this year,

same brand and size, but the fit seems different. I've tried them with Velcro straps around the front

of her legs, and Velcro straps around the back. I think previously I thought around the back was

better, so opening was to the back. Just curious if you use them, which way do you put them on?

I don't know if the fit is different with this set, or I just forget how they fit.

I've only used the Kensington and Cashel brands. They fit different from each other.

I think the opening goes towards the front, but that brand tends to spin and sag anyway.
