Cart question

I have a training cart for my mini mare...problem is, the shafts are smooth. How in the heck do you attach the harness and keep it in place with smooth shafts? Do I have to add something? Help!

Adjust the shafts in the holders so the end of the shaft is not past the horses shoulders. Then wrap in front, then in back of the holders--double wrap if possible.

You could buy some hardware to screw/ weld onto them?

Most all shafts are smooth.

Have you ever attached a harness with wrap straps before??? If not I would seriously try to find someone that has, and have them teach you. Safety is the key and correct hitching practices are the best.

Learning from someone is so much better than reading and doing.
