Our Pyrenees had to wear a collar of shame after she was spayed. It rubbed a small area on her neck and now there is proud flesh. I've experienced this with horses but not with dogs. Any remedies?

As long as the product is safe for dogs, I imagine any product for horses that reduces proud flesh would work. I don't know if it would work once proud flesh has formed, but Schreiner's Herbal solution prevents proud flesh from starting (at least that's been my experience with it).

It'll stain but a mix of betadine and sugar paste heals fast. (I am not a vet)
