I was getting ready to send in my foal's registration applications then I was remembering something that was said last year about the age of the sire.

Do they have to have their permanent papers?

And if so, can I send them in at the same time. Or is it best to make the stallions permanent first?

I've never had that issue with AMHR, but have with AMHA and just sent things in together without a problem.

Either registry will do the same thing. Send in all of the paperwork at the same time and they will process it. They don't care as long as its all in order.

As long as his papers havn't expired you can register the foal without worrying to make the stallion pernament, but it would be simpiler to send it all in.
