AMHR Paperwork Question!

Just a quick question...

When selling a foal with an AMHR application, I need to fill out the application (obviously) and a transfer, I believe since the foal was born here and will be sold with the mare. Is this correct? and do I need to fill out a stallion service certificate even though I owned the mare and the stallion at the time of breeding and foaling?

I don't THINK that you need the stallion certificate, but I would send one anyway. It's better to have too much paperwork than to be scrambling to find it later. JMO

How much is too much? When it comes to registering horses - it never happens.

Make sure you also do a transfer for the foal too.

I agree with Adam. Too much paperwork is way easier than not enough later.
