I am a HUGE supporter of DNA testing!!! All of the "big" horse breeds that I was involved with began doing "blood typing" then switched over to DNA when it became more common/less expensive. You just pull the mane hair now (is that correct for the Miniature Horse also?),

Yes with the minis you just pull mane hair too. You ask AMHA for the DNA kit, they have one sent to you. You sign one form varifying you were the one to pull the hair and send it to AMHA. The other form you tape the mane hair to and send it to the genetics company. Nice and easy.
