AMHA grant for world awards

You all arent not going to believe what our AMHA President Jim Barenklau, Executive Committe, and Board of Directors have done!!!! I want to give kuddos for all of their hard work!

I have been informed that we have a grant for the World show awards, are you ready for the amount???? Drum roll........... 137,000+

Can you believe it??? This grant is through the state of Texas, which all of these hard working people help obtain.

Thank you AMHA, their will now be world jackets for every class woohoo!!!

Jim, The EC and the Board are to be commended for the effort they put into this. It was not guaranteed money, they had to apply, present a plan and a economic benefits presentation had to be put together. At a cost of approx. 7500.00.

But all that was done and the State of Texas awarded them approx. 135,000.00 and the extra added benefit is that AMHA is in line to make more request and more marketing and advertising dollars are to be had possibly.

Thanks You to the entire group and the State of Texas. Job Well Done!
