I was wondering if anybody has hard shipped a gelding into the AMHA and the process involved? I was wanting to know about the Director inspection, like the average cost and how it all works. I live in Arkansas now and from all the research I have done local mini horse shows are slim and I don't believe they have a director. Any insight into this would be a huge help in deciding whether to hardship my gelding. Thank you!

Call the AMHA office and they will explain the whole process , the costs and provide you the paperwork.. They will also give you names and numbers of the closest directors to you so that measurement and insection can be made. The horses don't have to be measured at a show.

this is the last year for hardship, as the registry closes in 2013.

I was under the impression it closes the End of 2013. Is that wrong?

Thanks,

Susan O.

I was also under the impression that it closed Dec of 2013. Thank you for your reply, I will call the AMHA.

It does close as of Dec 31, 2013. So you have this year and all of next year.
