Thank you very much everyone for your kind words. I really enjoy writing, if only at times for my own amusement. I had entered this annual contest three times before and had decided not to participate this time. However, the day before the deadline, I changed my mind and sat down and wrote the story that day and entered it using the internet instead of mailing, an option they had in place. I am glad that I did!
