We use flax seed on our show horses. It is very good for them.. I was told though that you should grind it up in like a coffee grinder or somthing.. If they are left as seeds they wont digest all of them and wont get the full affect..

I feed 300 to all my babies as we wean them.. Its a great feed and ur horses should do real well on it.
