    Is it just me???

Okay, am I missing something here? I look through the auction here on our Canadian Miniature Horse site, and much of the items for sale state in their "Seller's "blurb"", that they will only ship to the lower 48 States. why WOULD that BE? I mean seriously...this is not the Dark Ages...we too...

    Canine dental powder??

I was talking to one of the vets yesterday and she didn't know what I was talking about when I asked if they had this powder to help prevent tarter build up. I am sure it was on this forum that I read about it...does anyone know what it is called? they said that if it is available, they will...

    Light-weight cart

I read all the posts about people looking for lightweight carts to use in racing, or marathons, and finally got some decent shots on my computer of a little cart that is very popular in our area. Granted, I am not fond of the wire wheels shown here, but one can easily opt to put the nylon or...

    Marathon shafts

I have a convertable-type of cart, that I am converting even further. I plan to get rid of the wire spoke wheels and go with metal/pneumatic, like in most marathon carriages. I am also having the shafts cut down and adding marathon shafts instead of regular ones. As I am the only mini...

    Butterfly bit

A couple of times, my bit chain has popped off the hook during a drive, and not only is that annoying, it is dangerous, as I then have to get out and adjust it...sometimes not in the best of situations. I have, since that last time, started using a strap on my trail drives. What I would like...

    Myler comfort snaffle

I have a 3 1/2 comfort snaffle with the sweet-iron mouthpiece, and would love to have another one...but even the regular with copper inserts would work. I find it a "pain" to switch from my carriage harness bridle, to my roadster bridle and figure it worth getting another Myler just to save the...

    No photobucket photos allowed?

I have been trying to post a picture of a seriously incorrectly harnessed horse here, but I keep getting an error line in pink, telling me that images from that source are not allowed. Seriously? When did that change?

I have Netflix which I watch through my laptop, but am considering putting to the TV through an Ipod. Does anyone know what GB of Ipod one would need for this?

    Bush guards...

I want to have a set of bush guards made for my new cart, and am wondering if anyone has a picture they can share. I have found a cart-maker who sells them, but they don't/won't ship to Canada. (Crazy that, it isn't like we are hard to find.)

    Brought over from main forum...

I am afraid I have to disagree with this. It SHOULD be all about the level the horse is at...NOT the driver. I think that a green horse, shown by an advanced driver is likely to achieve a higher level of performance faster than that same horse would if driven by a less advanced/talented...

    Meadowbrook to roadcart...

If I decide to stain or paint my cart, after "deconstructing" it into a road cart, what should/could be done with the wheels? Should they be painted/stained as well, or left natural with perhaps a black striping added to "match" them up to the black stain/paint I use for the cart?

    Build-a-bear sneakers

I have used these in the past, but they never really fit perfectly...they were always made of a plastic material, and a bit stiff. These ones are perfect little canvas hi-tops...she can trot right along with these on, no more worrying about gravelling or stone buising.

    WEG

After reading this, I can now more fully understand the Registry taking the option of losing the $15,000 or so already invested, and stepping AWAY from this event. How sad...

    My min pin puppies. :-)

The pups were two weeks old Thursday. Their eyes just opened Thrusday and Friday, so they are beginning to crawl around a wee bit, but not much yet. Soon it will be a zoo in here. This was her first litter, and she is such a good little mother; very attentive, yet freindly with what few...

    Has anyone seen this...

Sorry, but for some reason the link to u-tube will NOT WORK... To find it, just Google it, and you will see what I am talking about. I am shocked that it is even being considered. when I first heard of it I thought it was a very sick "joke". The word that comes to mind..............TRAVESTY...
