IMO it's a scam! If your unsure for any reason print it out and take it to your post office!! They definately are creative but still a scam!!

Yes, it is 100% a scam. Whenever an organisation contacts you via email about very important matters (and asking for money, to boot), it is a scam. They will call you, not email you (banks, credit unions, post, etc.).

Thank you all, I thought it was. but getting too old for these things.
 
What reason would the post office have to inspect or intercept any parcels from DHL/UPS? They are totally independant of the government and the government doesen't do anything they don't have to. Just think, If just 100 people sent them the $158. That would be $15,800. If you are that lazy to not want to work but just send out emails that is a really good haul for sending out automated emails.
