Hi I was wondering how many people was in Western NC? I have been looking for some shows in the area and have noticed there really isn't anything on this side of NC. I seen the club for mini's on the eastern part of the state but nothing over here. Do we really not have that many people into miniatures in the area?

Have you checked out the Western NC Mini Horse Club? I don't have any experience with them, but I know there have been some posts on here regarding wanting to start a club for those in the western part of the state. I know East Coast Mini Club is good and has great shows.

Link to their site--http://wncmhc.org/ They also have a Facebook page

Here is another helpful link to farms in the area. You could ask them if they belong to any clubs or do any outside activities with their minis

Our farm is in Western NC. As far as breed shows the closest one is in Clemson, SC. There are quite a few people in our area that participate in the ADS shows/trials with their minis. There is a farm not 5 miles from us that holds sanctioned ADS events. If you are interested in those types of things then check out the Carolina Carriage Club.
