Very new to minis

Hi!
I am about to bring home my first mini (!!!) and am wondering if it is possible to find anything about his show history.
Are there records of that somewhere? I have his AMHR registration number.

Yes. Go to the AMHR website, shows and events, show results. From there on the left is shetland and on the right is AMHR. HOF life to date will just tell you the points he has earned over the years. Show performance report will let you search each year to see any AMHR shows he was in, how many horses were in his class and how he placed. You do have to search each year, but it's my favorite thing about AMHR.

I tried it but it keeps saying that the registration number isn't a valid integer?
The number on his papers is 295313A.

Maybe try with just the number (leave off the A)? I have never used their site but "integer" implies it needs to be numbers only.

Yes, leave off the A, that's not really part of their reg # for some reason.

I wasn't sure if you were able to get it to work or not, so I looked it up. If the reg # is correct he was never shown AMHR.
