LET'S ADD ON TO THIS AND TRY TO NAME AS MANY FARM NAMES OR FORUM MEMBERS OR THEIR HORSES AS YOU CAN!

Twas the night before Christmas and all through the forum

We were hoping to sit back and admire our Christmas decorum

The halters were hung by Magic in red,

In hopes that all the Minis soon would be fed;

With Nicky and Peanut all snug in their stalls

Skillet decided to kick at his wall

I tripped over a bale trying to see what was the matter

And fell on my face which made me even madder

'Twas the night before Christmas for all our friends on LB

And I send warm holiday wishes from DunIT, Destiny, Harvey and me.

AND I IN MY NIGHTIE

KISSED MARK ON THE LIPS.

SAID "GOOD NIGHT, TURNIN IN...STAYED UP TOO LATE LAST NIGHT WATCHING THE LUNAR ECLIPSE."

(no name for the farm yet but quite simply I usally just post as vickie gee)

While down in Texas amid a warm front (65F)

Rebel and the girls where dreaming of clippers and neck sweats

under their Tree

(there is a ceder tree in the pasture)

Pops all snuggled up in bed, with visions of unpaid bills dancing in his head, I in my chair, TV on, my eyes on the monitor, a foal soon to be born.

I brushed off my Jeans and straightned my shirt

Knowing on Christmas morn I'll be in for some hurt.

Now Peanut and Popcorn,Holly and S'mores

please hold your darn horses

your gonna get yours!

The hay was all soft and green and quite fresh

But pulling it apart I made such a mess

A cup looks so little yes that is true

But anything more can cause something far worse than the flu

Holly is first with her hay and her grain

I know in 20 minutes she'll be hungry again

SilverBelle is most patience and wait she will do

while Skillet and S'mores toss their heads right on cue.

My horses are fed and in for the night

The stars in the sky are shining so bright

I whisper to all Merry Christmas and Good Night

Guess now I gotta feed the dogs

Then snuggle with hubby and some real strong egg nog!!

WHEN OUT NEAR THE BARN

THERE AROSE SUCH A CLATTER.

I SPRANG TO MY FEET

TO SEE WHAT WAS THE MATTER.

AWAY TO THE STALLS

I FLEW LIKE A FLASH.

TRIPPED OVER PO KITTY

LANDED IN CHOCTAW'S WATER TROUGH...

WITH A BIG CLUMSY SPLASH

!!!!

WITH THE MOON ALL AGLOW

ON THE NEW METAL ROOF; I LOOKED UP AND SAW

(omeegosh) is this real or a spoof?

Out in the pasture the full moon arose.

And amidst the green shelter my boys are adoze.

Dapper Dan in his brown coat that looks like a yak.

And Dusty who seems to have snow on his back.

Waiting for Christmas and the Hour they know how

To offer their worship by making a bow.

Shivering and shaking like a scared little mouse

I've found myself in a quandry

Wish I had just stayed in the house.

I must protect the minis

Not sure what to do.

In the dark, alone, and

I DON'T HAVE A CLUE.

But wait! Where's the cell phone?

I shall call some mini pros.

Thankful to have met so many mini

ready and willing to calm my woes.

Fellow Texans Ann Dwyer,

Kay Pate and her daughter too.

Yes, legends and icons

that will know what to do.

Perhaps over in Tyler

I can ring those neat Starlite gals.

Why, yes! They sold me my trailer.

They are my forever pals.

Now there is Sherry and Danny (of Sandy Oaks).

They delivered Memp my first mini.

I am so grateful for such

truly wonderful folks.

Across the state line over in Louisiana.

fun "alphabet" foals at Hidden Holler.

Very much worth the drive

for a newbie from Texarkana.

Also down that way

I know of K Sera.

How? Last year my wonderful Secret Santa.

Hoorah! Hoorah!

What about Dennis over in the Natural State?

He is so calm and kind.

And you know a visit with UNO

is sure to be great.

And I can always count on Ginnie,

my good friend from Boggy Creek.

Girlfriend, need your help!

Can you hear us? Neigh! Whinny!!!

Alas, alas. No cell phone in site.

Somebody else please post.

(time for me to be quiet)
