Big congratulations to Ruffian who, as of today (a little birdie told me she couldn't want for the end of the day and left at noon) is now a retiree!

Welcome to being a full time barn bum!!!

Congratulations Ruffian! You have achieved the dream. That’s what it’s all about.

Run free, little filly, run free.

Now, what are you going to do on your first full day of retirement?

THANK YOU EVERYBODY!!

It's only taken me 33 years to get here, so there's still hope for you guys!

It really doesn't seem real - just seems like a couple of days off in the middle of the week!

So far I've cleaned house, done laundry, put stalls in the new barn, did some horse work, took my 91 year old aunt shopping -- Might have to find a new job to rest!

Thanks again - my dear forum ( and real life!) friends

Congrats Dana!!!
I was going to ask what are you going to do with all your free time but by the list you just posted I see you have already filled your empty time. You need to slow down and enjoy your freedom
Or if you just cant help ypourself just stop by I have tons of horse and house work that needs doing
See you in a month

Huh - that's funny Joyce, lots of other folks have offered to let me do their house and barn work too!!
They're just so generous.

See you soon!

Are you guys going to Nationals?

Ok, exactly what time did you say you'll be here tomorrow?

(just need to make sure I have my list of chores ready.)

(and you thought you were just coming over to meet Gizmo.) HA!
