Has anyone ever received a phone call scam from overseas? I have received emails that were fishy, but was wondering if they are now using phones. Thanks

I have had suspicious phone calls lately-

Editted to add- There is a certain tone to the emails and phone calls.

We get the same scams in australia yes thay will phone you

Listen to your instinct. If I have any doubt whatsoever, I treat it as a scam. If you're asking the forum for advice, it probably is.

Hmmm...I have been looking to buy an AMHA gelding or mare..i have emailed a lot of people inquiring , but always leave a web address so they can see that I am a real person...I am from Switzerland (overseas), and a lot of people never wrote back about the horses they had for sale..I wonder how many thought I was a scam.. Fortunatly one didnt , and I am now a proud owner of a beautiful little gelding. I will let the breeder post the sale here , she will in a day or so. I am thrilled with my new little guy , and cant wait to get him here in a month or so.

Switzerland is going to have some stiff competition....
