I have been on pins & needles worried about our Merlot foaling. Although she has never had an issue (3 foals so far) she is 28" and our smallest mare. She was bred to Vermilyea Farms Atlantis and this was his first foal. She had a textbook delivery and a beautiful small BAY-B BOY! Pinto to boot and so very flashy. My favorite color! He is pictured at 20 hrs old and still unfolding and I measured him at 18" He has nice long legs and big eyes and good length of neck but is still unfolding. It never ceases to amaze me how much they change even the first 24 hrs. He is yet unnamed so any suggestions for our little guy? WILLOW ROCS...?

I love bay pintos. He looks awfully leggy to be coming from a 28" mare! I bet your mare was as wide as she is tall
