Our Canada Day Parade was a day early this year. The weather was great, and there were lots of people watching. Our minis Shylo (black cousin's horse) and Hope (my pinto) went through it without issue. I was very impressed with the girls, they didn't seemed to mind the blaring sirens and revving engines. so here are some pictures of their completed costumes.

Yes that is a Great Dane someone had directly in front of us. It was getting a few laughs that the horses were smaller than the dogs. The dog was so excited to see horses it's size it kept dragging it's owner backwards wanting to play with them.

Hope is about 34.5" and the Dane had at least an inch or so on her height.

Thanks, it is amazing what you can do with items from the dollar store. lol

So cute! Can't wait until Misty and my granddaughters are old enough to be in a costume class or our local parade! I was in several costume classes when I was little, I remember being the "Ajax White Night" got a blue ribbon!! Fun Times!
