Our Foaling Season has began

We had our first live foal last night. We had a mare abort about a month ago and then we had a still born last week. So this is our first live foal of the year. And it is a FILLY, she is black and white and has one blue eye. The filly's mom is a double bred Shadow Oaks Paul Bunyan daughter who is 17 years old and was one of the very first mares we bought. It is always exciting when the first foal of the year is born. Only 26 more mares to foal, but i think we have a couple weeks before the next mare will foal.
