Mares heat cycle

I am wondering if anyone here uses a supplement for their mares to help regulate their cycle, reduce the cranky attitude also. This would be for a lactating mare in for breeding. I was thinking along the line of Mare Plus but was curious what other use. I am not interested in the "shot" just a good supplement if there is one.

I've heard good things about mare magic but I've never used anything. I think mare plus is more for nutrients than their cycle.

I was thinking about the mare magic also. I will have to look into that one and see if it is ok for a mare with a foal at her side that is nursing. This is all new to me and I have been raising a few foals over the last 30 years. Thanks your reply.
