Pretty low, but one mare did sell for $7,500. She was drop dead gorgeous, a Buckeroo daughter, and well worth it. Most of the silent auction horses brought less than around $800. Wasn't much of a crowd, which surprised me.

This information is not good news, it tells me that the horse market is still down. Little King Farm is one of the best breeders in this country. I would be curious to find out how the Taylor FArm sale goes, and there is a sale in Greencastle the middle of May that usually draws around 100+ horses and huge crowds. Although most, but not all, of the horses that go to Greencastle are not show quality, but sometimes you can pick up a good deal. I only hope the market improves soon.
