Did you ever think about how you would or wouldn't make it in the mini world as breedable? Here's how an ad for me would be placed--

"A" sized Palamino mare with blue eyes

Temperament is pretty good--gets along well with MOST mares

Has had 3 foals, last two were easy births (ya right!)

Does not stand for stallion well (had to put that one in
biggrin.gif
)

Could stand to lose a little weight (actually alot but who's counting)

Comes running at meal time but doesn't look for alot of attention

Pedigree on dam's side is very good, pedigree on sire's side is ok

Legs are straight, bite is off

Has not been professional trained but fast learner

Your turn---

Under the average height "A" mare

Grumpy and disrespectful

Vet advised against breeding due to size

Does tricks (balances books, throws fits, will not jump through hoops
smile.gif
)

Has never stood for stallion voluntarily(never met one good enough)

Exact right weight for size in about two weeks time!!

Finds all own food, no need for supplements

Excellent blue blooded pedigree on Dam side, Sire unregistered

Perfect conformation

Professionally trained to a very high standard- has always done well when shown!!!

Tall B sized, does seem to have the silver gene.

Has had 3 foals but is done with the foaling yrs, pet or retirement only.

Is an easy keeper, will eat anything.

Hates box stalls, would rather be out in the fresh air and pasture.

Is easy to get along with, as long as she gets everything she wants.

Gets along well with all animals, including other old mares.

Has straight teeth and good legs but could use a good weight loss program.

Hates to be cold, hates to be hot, wants things perfect, kinda an old nag!

Funny!

Average size B, red dun mare, may have gray gene

Not a good breeding prospect, doesn't care for foals around.

Prefers being in large pastures, no stalls. Likes to go on long trail rides in new country.

Has good strong, straight legs, good bite.

Gets along with most horses but doesn't like to be misled AT ALL! Has a hard time keeping/rebuilding a trust if it has been violated.

Prefers hanging out with the stallions but is devoted to her lifetime mate.

Very picky about the mares she pastures with.

In my day I would have been a good broodmare. I was small for my species (5'0") but big enough not to be a birthing concern. I also threw nice looking fillies who have won many awards.

Tall B palomino, with long thick, dark, mane

Very leggy would make good driving horse if you can get her to act her age

Has produced four beautiful foals, good mother, very protective, but so done with that. Needs pasture space and a good place to run and jump. Prefers an area wiht lots of water to play in as well.

Picky eater, needs to have her food and her way or won't eat.

Loves attention and treats

Big nice green eyes, gets along well with just about any stallion and the occasional mare. Good babysitter prospect.

A little on the thin side for a mare but could be due to her active energy level.

Will only go to a home that will provide her with a soft bed of hay and a heater for cold winter nights.

Nice blue blood pedigree on Dam's side, Sire, gorgeous import

Very refined

Palomino mare pushing height limit.

Not a halter contender but very tough performance individual, if could get back into condition, may have foundered

Needs to be in a herd where other animals humor her into thinking she's the boss mare.

Will bite if provoked.

Double Registered Big Ole Mare! Went oversize!

Supposed to be sorrel but the greying gene seems to be present.

Overweight and hates exercise and has some health issues including a re-occuring foundered toe.

Very difficult to keep clean. Impossible to fit and condition.

Will eat anything in sight and must keep out of wooded areas as she will eat anything available.

Prefers to hang in the stall alone under a fan and requires blankets in the winter.

Is submissive to others and will be abused if put in with a lot of bossy mares easily and won't stand up for herself. Shy and quiet in public due to lack of self-esteem but can be a handful to her owners.

Has had two colts, hard births but does love being a mother.

Has stood for a number of stallions easily and with no problems and is very willing to continue to do so in the future and till the dawn of time wether she takes or not!

We feel she stays in heat on purpose

Gray broodmare , four foals [3 fillies 1 colt] all on the large side, definately B

Easy to get along with but definitely BOSS MARE. Very fit, excellent driver,[on the

road every day]. Only good for one stud.

I think my highest hopes would be for a nice "pet" home.

I would love pets and scratches.

yup.. aged slightly oversize mare on the tall end

crystal blue eyes

flaxen mane but throws dark hair....hhhmm

retired now but quite the snappy lil filly in her prime..in demand and admired greatly..prancy and dancy and loved to run

enjoys pregnancy easy breeder no problems foaling spits em out like watermellon seeds

easy breeder..oh wait ...already said that but bears repeating

has had two show quality foals stocky good lookin stud colt and tall willowy filly with legs to die for

does not like confinement..prefers open spaces adapts well to any situation, plays well with others

history of abuse but no baggage due to love

easy keeper puts on weight smelling air

very creative weaves baskets out of hay before eating

Aged mare chestnut mane and blue eyes.

Sound no health issues.

Could use good feeding program to get rid of belly lol

Was a good foaler easy births one tiny filly one sturdy colt.

Would do well as a babysitter for your herd.

No longer breedable although will still stand for favorite stud. Must go together.

Enjoys cookies and will do most anything for them.

Also would appreciate air conditioned stall in summer and heated barn for winter.

Hee hee this is great

MeI would be a dark bay mare with a hint of possible silver but.. lets call it sabino sounds so much more exotic
wink.gif

Once upon a time long long ago in a land far far away was one impressive filly but.. now has that broodmare body

Loves all kinds of treats but limited attention

Very particular in what stallion she will stand for.

Pretty easy to fit into a herd.

Lots of not so nice experiences previously but can be very forgiving

I ain't going there, lol!! Let's just say that my two "fillies" are gorgeous...
wub.gif

Too stocky, short neck, long nose, bad knees (poor movement, can't jump), hard-headed...

Thank goodness I'm human or I'd have been gelded a long time ago.

Boss mare - definite graying gene. Rare Green eyes!

Definitely A sized, but both foals are B

Easy keeper, likes to drive

Requires frequent farrier.

Never wormed - UTD on shots

Easily shod. Never bit, but has been known to kick.

Both parents purebreds (Hungarian/Slovakian)

forms strong attachments to fellow herdmates - accepts

outsiders but can be standoffish.

Definitely NOT a "Halter" prospect!

OMG!! I think about this all the time!! LOL!!!

Middle aged "a" sized mini, dark bay with some chrome! heehee

great temperment, can be hard to catch but ADORES attention and needs ego stroking! testy with fencing!

likes pasture turn out with nice cozy indoor space available at all times.....treats are a must even with current weight issues

Spunky but loving!! good with most kids

toes out in the back and slightly unsound in the back right.......has big QH a**

and broodmare belly. all fillies to date (2) .....easy to get in foal and LOVES her stallion. PRICELESS!!!!

Hmmm, I would be a smaller but a bit stocky "A' sized mare. Easy breeder and catches quick. Does have a history of abortions and complicated pregnancys. Last abortion required surgery. Currently in foal due April Fools (hows that for a due date lol) Does like the trails. Hates the same thing over and over. Must have a AC & Heat barn or will be cranky. Has a bad overbite and some dental issues. Will kick if provoked and seems to be a bit on the loner side. Guess thats it on me. Oh yeah has those gorgeous blue eyes, did have a blond mane but is now turning brown
sad.gif

33" chestnut pinto(tan lines, hehe), with blue eyes

conformation durable but not breeding quality--toes out in back, bite slightly off, eyes not perfect.

good solid feet--proportionate to size, sturdy.

thicker bone

not very athletic, sometimes clumsy
