I am so sorry for your loss. Both my parents are gone now, I lost my Dad last year. I know the pain you are in.

Your tribute to him is beautiful.

I add GGA to my foals names in honor of my Dad as they are his initials.

Thank you all.. I want to share with you the letter I read for my Dad:

As everyone here today knows

My Dad was a great Father, Grandfather and friend

He will be missed by many

But in our hearts he will always be

For he was the best everyone could see.

Maybe at times he didn't say much

But that was alright by me- as often

Words need not be spoken for one to hear.

Dad was a hard worker

He was always there when needed

To Dad there are so many great things to say

But I know I don't have all day

So I chose to say the

Words he spoke once to me

That meant the most to me..

Things Will Get Better

If ever times are bad

Listen to these words as they are sad

What ever it is, it will get better

Just like it says in this letter

When ever you think all is gone

You must realize you are wrong

Sometimes things have gone away

But in your heart they are there to stay

The greatest thing I ever heard

Was from a wise mans word

At the time I felt he was wrong

But as time passed and I felt so alone

His words were right

And I finally saw the light

These words I speak of were spoken with love

Expressed from my Dad and at the time made me sad

Things will get better indeed

Just you wait and see

That was what my Dad had said to me

And although I stand here and grieve

Thoughs words will always be

Ones spoken from my Dad to me

I share these words with you

I know you all need them as much as me

As we are all hurting here today

Missing my Dad we all knew

Things will get better indeed, just you wait and see.

Dad, I love you and miss you. You will be in my thoughts every night and every day
