I'm considering buying an iMac!

Well the laptop I was using has died and so I need to go computer shopping.

With all the trouble past computers have been, I am strongly considering trying a Mac.

So, I was wondering if anybody who has a Mac now could let me know what they think of it. Is there anything you could do on your PC that you can't do on your Mac? How was it to switch?

I am just looking for average person use, internet and so on nothing too fancy...

To say I LOVE my Mac would be an understatement!!!!

AND I just found out that you can actually run Windows ON your Mac....ok, you need to buy an extra program to do it, but for certain programs that AREN'T available on an Mac platform (ie: the breed pedigree program that I want to buy) it's definitely worth it.

I don't have Windows on my computer yet, but I haven't had any problems opening things. They are MUCH better for that than they used to be imo.
