How many of you mini horse owners also have riding horses?

DianaM, size does not matter with the horses with minis thing as much as disposition. I've got a 14.1 mare that beats every equine up regardless of size. Come to think of it, I had a 13.2 mare that would run backwards kicking with both feet at other horses once. I wish I had a video of it, since it doesn't even sound possible. A smaller animal would likely do less damage if there were an accident though.

Here are our 3. Maddy the mini shet is about 32", Daisy is 12 hands and Shadow is 13.2. I ride Daisy I'm about 50kg, my friend is a bit taller and I guess a bit heavier. Shade is 24 years old but probably the fuzziest. All very happy. I got Daisy to drive but it's so much more faff than driving a mini, so we ride

My wife loves pandas so when we found a life-size one in a flea market I had to get it! it is the best view from a kitchen window we have ever had.
