How do I post photos here?

Do I need to have a site like photoshop? or is it possible to post photos direct?

Thanks Charlotte, I was hoping that it was possible to post photos direct. I am a bit lazy when it comes to

having to gather photos from one place and then having to transfer them.

now i have a question, i was on the practice board trying to post a pic, following the intstructions given above, my pictures are on photo bucket, and i did it just as it said to do. this message kept comming up:

THE FOLLOWING ERROR(S) WERE FOUND

You are not allowed to use that image extension on this board. A valid format is: http://www.domain.com/picture.gif, an invalid format is: http://www.domain.com/picture.one.gif

what am i doing wrong? im so technology illiterate
