my girl is coming up on 300 days...Nothing happening though!
We are somewhere between 327&334 and she's got a tiny start of a bag, a deep V belly, relaxed vulva, but no starting of labor at all. She slept most of last night, unlike myself 🤣 between foal watch, my husbands apnea and my baby in a growth spurt I'm exhausted and sneaking power naps through the days lol!

They like making you wait. Is that a Port-a-hut she has for shelter?
It's a steel quonset hut(not sure of brand). We divide it in half when we have bottle calves in winter and use tarps to hold heat in. Once they were weaned I cleaned it all out, borrowed some rubber mats and set it up as her foaling stall. It's not perfect but it's dry shelter with a decent amount of space (7'3"×14'11"). I have a tarp across the front that I can drop and tie down to fully or partially cover the front depending on weather.
I also added a board across the front gate on the inside to prevent small legs from going through and getting stuck or hurt. We weren't expecting to bring home a hitch-hiker in our new mini lol, so I'm making do best I can.

I love it. We have a small one for our sheep, and I wondered if a bigger one would work for the minis.
This one was once set up for my 15h appaloosa gelding. In the pasture we have a double calf hut that she uses, that we've used for calves and sheep, but she makes the claves use the small singles during the day when she's out there 🤣 they learned really quick to make room for the queen, and thankfully she never went too crazy on them. I'll grab a photo with the double hut in the background. It works great but is a pain in the butt to clean out without hitting your head haha, I'm only 5'4" but I still have to bend quite a bit. We stuck a single hut in front of half as a wind block.

If she took in April she would be roughly 354. If she took in May, roughly 327. She's getting a bag but man I'm not sure her poor stomach can stretch much more!

Udder is tonight, calf hut photo is a few days old, baby has definitely turned since then (third pic is today, 4th is yesterday)
